Kevin is a designer who specialises in visual interaction design. Working in both design studios and as a freelance designer, he has been involved in variety of projects such as commercial websites, financial web applications, mobile UIs and touchscreen kiosks for children. His current work is focusing on design that moves beyond traditional desktop computing and away from the screen. In addition to commercial work, he also creates interactive art installations which have been exhibited in Ireland, the US, Denmark, Austria and the UK.

A graduate of B.Sc in Multimedia from Dublin City University, and the Interaction Design Pilot Year at CIID/DKDS, he is very happy to be invited back to teach the new students some of his old tricks. He believes that design is not just about making something pretty, but something that works well. It’s as much about understanding user behaviour as it is about choosing the right style.
