Matt Jones is a designer who has worked delivering digital products and services since 1995. Creative Director for the launch of BBC News Online and Sapient’s London studio in the late 90s, he returned to the BBC in 2001 to work on the BBC’s web search and it’s first social network efforts. From 2003, Matt joined Nokia in design research, working on areas as diverse as RFID/NFC applications of tangible/physical interfaces and the human universal experience of play. Then, from 2005 he was a Director of User-Experience Design at Nokia Design.
Matt is one of the founders and lead designer of Dopplr.com, a service for frequent travelers and has spoken at events such as Reboot, Ars Electronica, O’Reilly’s Etech and FooCamp.
